In our effort to provide the animals we rescue with the best care possible we frequently run in the red. Thankfully our vets are very understanding and allow us to pay over time. Our adoption fee only covers a small portion of the overall vet care we provide. We rely solely on donations in order to fund our rescue efforts.

In 2009 97.66% of every dollar spent was spent directly on animal care. The other 2.34% was used for necessary expenses such as our P O Box, our phone service and the printing of adoption documents. For comparison the administrative costs for Best Friends are 5.9%, the ASPCA are 2.1% and the HSUS 4.2%.

We are happy to provide our tax forms filed with the IRS. We have modified the 990-EZ from the version submitted to the IRS to protect the privacy of our directors. The only information not displayed on this version is the home addresses of our directors.
