Thank you to everyone who ordered a stocking or got their picture taken with Santa. We had great success with both events! Our volunteers enjoyed making the stockings, it was even more fun handing them out! We enjoyed seeing all the festive pets who came to see Santa - there were many good cats and dogs this year!

Kuranda Bed Donations
Kuranda pet beds are very durable, easy to clean and comfy for pets. APAWS is now registered with Kuranda's donation program. All of our animals live in foster homes, but they still like having a bed to call their own! Our foster parents provide blankets and beds for their fosters, but these are generally difficult to clean and wear out too easily. Animal Rescue Site Challenge

CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts Mardi Gras Dog Parade
The CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts Mardi Gras Dog Parade will be on Sunday, February 20, 2011 in downtown Baton Rouge. The theme is Hooray for Howl-y-wood. CAAWS will be posting registration and more info on their website soon. APAWS is planning on having a booth again this year. We look forward to seeing you!
