Help APAWS purchase oxygen masks for Fire Departments in the Baton Rouge Area!

We are happy to report we raised enough money to put a pet oxygen mask kit on each of St. George's firetrucks! Due to this success we are now raising money for kits for Brownsfield (2 kits), Alsen (1 kit) and Chaneyville (2 kits). We are in the process of contacting other departments to see if they are willing to have pet oxygen mask kits on their trucks!

On October 3, 2013 St. George firefighters tried to save three dogs injured during a house fire. Unfortunately they were only able to save one. We are amazed at how these firefighters went above the call of duty to save a dog's life. Please view the story on WAFB.

On December 2, 2013 APAWS presented St. George Fire Department with their mask kits. Please view the story on WAFB.com!

The firefighters used the equipment designed for human use on the dogs, it would be better to use equipment designed for pets! APAWS is trying to raise money to equip Baton Rouge area fire departments with pet oxygen mask kits. A set of three masks (in different sizes so all pets can be rescued) is only $75 plus shipping through the Wag'N O2 Fur Life® Program.

Please make a donation towards the oxygen masks - your pet could be the one they save!

Donate online through PayPal.com. If you are not comfortable donating online please mail a check to PO Box 40981, Baton Rouge, LA 70835 or drop off your donation to us at any of our adoption days! Be sure to make a note that the donation is for oxygen masks.

Order a Residence Alert Sticker to make sure the fire department knows you have pets! Each sticker is only $2.50 which incldes shipping.
